Verdant Press is a working garden studio in the Inner West that designs perennial-led courtyards, edible kitchen plots, and the occasional rooftop meadow. Every job ships with a hand-printed almanac so you know what to do, every week, for a year.
The almanac is the only piece of mail I read on the day it arrives. Week 32 told me to thin the basil — it was right, the basil was furious.
They don't sell you a garden. They print you one, fold it twice, and walk you through it for a year.
Three full seasons in, the dahlias are still doing what the plate said they would. I have stopped questioning the press.
